The Clearing needed updated business cards that aligned with its refreshed branding while incorporating a newly registered trademark. The challenge was to ensure brand consistency while exploring multiple design variations within a short turnaround time.
Design Process
For this project, I started by researching modern, corporate business cards to understand current trends and identify what made them visually compelling. I also looked at how businesses were using typography, color, and textures to create memorable impressions in a small format. After sketching out several initial ideas, I realized the first iteration was too minimal and lacked visual interest. To refine the design, I experimented with varying the typography and introducing bolder color choices to give the card more personality. I also incorporated subtle textures and map overlays, which added depth and intrigue while maintaining a professional look. The final design was a balanced combination of modern elegance and visual appeal, with an emphasis on creating a unique, standout impression.
